The name
gnomon (n.) — the part of a sundial that casts the shadow.
A gnomon does not create the light. It helps us understand what the light reveals.
Sometimes clarity leads us to build technology. Sometimes it becomes a book or framework. Sometimes it leads us to support a community or cause.
The form changes. The purpose remains consistent: see what matters, understand it clearly, and do something useful with it.
